Mac compatible versions of Word should have similar options. Please note, these hints work with versions of Microsoft Word currently in use – Word 2007, Word 2010 and Word 2013 all for PC. You can enter your custom margins and then click on the Default button. To set default margins in Word 2003, select Page Setup from the File menu. Click OK to accept the different values, rather than clicking on the Default (or Set As Default) button. You can also select Custom Margins from the drop-down menu on the Margins button and enter the desired custom values in the Margins section on the Page Setup dialog box.
